  1. Initial Setup

  3. Play begins as follows:

  5. 1)  Select New Game from the File menu. 
  6.  
  7. 2)  All players enter their names when requested.
  8.  
  9. 3)  Select the number of players desired (2-6) and click OK.
  10.  
  11. 4)  The Department of Energy issues an initial land grant for each of the players. These initial land grants are automatically placed on the board as seeds for new companies.
  12.  
  13. 5)  Each player is issued an initial cash holding of $6000.
  14.  
  15. 6)  Each player is issued six land grants by the Department of Energy for the formation of energy producing companies.
  16.  
  17. 7)  Play commences with the player who was issued the land grant closest to A-1 in step 4 above.
